Disclaimers
My fees are not on this page because I employ a rather broad sliding scale based on an organization’s budget. I believe groups of all sizes and financial access should be able to collaborate with me, but I do want more well-resourced organizations to pay what is appropriate for their access and my work’s value. Please contact me to discuss compensation rates and I will share my sliding scale fee structure with you.
__________
I am not a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice educator or consultant. I do not teach sessions with the explicit purpose of undoing bias, exposing racism, or moving organizations towards their equity goals. If your organization has predominantly white membership, and is interested in an experience that is explicitly and exclusively for your white members to challenge their bias and get concrete action steps towards antiracism, I am likely not the right fit for you. My approach is teaching with stories and history, and allowing people the space to explore their own analysis and perspectives based on the facts and anecdotes presented. I cannot offer recommendations on what not to say/do to BIPOC folks in community, what microaggressions are, etc.
Anyone is welcome to contact me for an opportunity. If you contact me for an engagement and in meeting with you, I feel that your project falls into DEIJ, I will recommend you seek an alternative speaker and consultant
